Quality Assurance Standards
The Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development (MHTESTD) has Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions established in terms of Manpower Planning and Development Act 28:02 part II and part IV, which are involved in human capital skills development for the nation.
In an effort to maintain the high-quality production of skilled competent graduates from the TVET Institutions, the Ministry established the Quality Assurance and Standards Directorate with three main Divisions that is Curriculum Research and Development (CRD), National Examinations Office (NEO) and Industrial Training and Trade Testing Division (ITTD).
